I was excited to get this blue collarless coat because the color is so very similar to the trademarked Tiffany blue. It would be perfect with my Tiffany scarves and bags.
Then, because I couldn't get over how inexpensive it turned out to be after being 70% off, I decided to get the peach colored one as well. The Target website actually calls this color "osage orange". I've never heard of the term osage orange before, so I googled it. After looking at some images, I still think this color is closer to peach, so I'll call it peach from now on.
The most unique details about these coats are that they are collarless (hence the name). I tried them on with a few collared shirts at home, pulling the collars out from the coat. The collared shirts went very well with these collarless coats, as the shirt collars weren't fighting with another collar from a coat. Without the collars on the coat, the neckline looked less messy and more elegant. I went ahead and tried on some opera length pearls outside the coats. Hmm, I looked very posh, like a society lady who lunches.
Here are more photos from the Target website.
And here is more information from the Target website. The price on the website is still at only 30% off, but it has been 70% off in stores for a while. With my 5% off discount from my Target card, the final price for me came out to just $17.08 plus tax.
