Tiffany City Clutch Wallet

I currently have two wallets, both which never made it onto this blog because they were purchased so long ago. The one I use every day matches my Dooney and Burke All Weather Leather bag. The other one is from Chanel and matches my Chanel Cambon bag, which I use for dressier occasions.

So you would think the last thing I need is another wallet, right?

But DH, who (did I already mention this numerous times in previous posts) is an engineer and is all about practicality, surprised me with this wallet this year for my birthday!

Okay, the word "surprised" is an exaggeration. He had forewarned me a few months ago that he was getting me something expensive (as indicated in this WHBM Sequin Shoes post). And I had already seen the Tiffany charge on the credit card statements. So I knew my birthday present was coming from Tiffany.

But I was a little surprised because normally he buys me small jewelry from Tiffany. This is the first time he got me a leather item from there.

When I asked him why he decided to get me the wallet, his practical side finally came through. He said he wanted to give me this wallet so that when we went shopping and I wanted to wander off, I could leave him the baby and the diaper bag and just take the wallet with me. Since the wallet came with a chain, it can easily transform into a small purse.

Again, describing the wallet as a "purse" is a bit of an exaggeration. But you get the idea.

Anyway, I am so happy with the wallet. I think it is one of the best gifts from him!
