Forever 21 came out with a bunch of Kokeshi doll necklaces in all shapes and sizes a while ago. Although I love the actual Japanese kokeshi dolls (as I hinted in my Edme and Esyllte Matriarch Skirt post), I was a bit wary buying these necklaces because I thought they may look too cartoonish for me to wear.
Then I saw this one in the store. It was perfect because the pendant was small and dainty. Even though it would still be a stretch to say it would work perfectly with a conservative business suit, at least it wouldn't be so glaringly juvenile against a large percentage of my casual work clothes.
These kokeshi doll necklaces are apparently very popular. The store only had this one left, and the website has already sold out of this necklace.
